Performing "Nights in White Satin" goes back to my Beaver Avenue Beggars days, with Pat Elliott taking care of the vocals. At that time it lead off an interesting medley that we put together with "Nights" leading into the CSN version of "Woodstock" leading into Jethro Tulls "Locomotive Breath". AA doesn't do the medley, but the Beggars didn't have Eileens violin to lay down a pretty sweet lead instrumental, so not a bad tradeoff.
