• Going back to my early Trinity days, my musical partners and I have crossed paths with the original Cartoon lineup in so many different ways.  I owe a lot of early exposure to the generosity of Randy Hughes, who used to invite us up to join in on a song, take the guitar from him for a few songs during a break and later, after the formation of The Beaver Avenue Beggars, giving us his recommendation to take over his Happy Hours slot at the Phyrst when he left State College.  I believe most would agree that Jon Rounds is one of the best, if not THE best, songwriters to grace the State College scene.  I think most would agree that his Cartoon bandmates weren't too shabby either.
